The summer infant classic comfort wood bassinet is a comfortable bed for babies to sleep safely. This baby bassinet includes a sound module with calming sounds and vibration to help your baby to sleep.

The wood bassinet has an adjustable canopy and it is useful to block overhead lighting to don’t disturb your newborn while sleeping.

It has rolling casters that can be locked to prevent bassinet from rolling. Wheels allow parents to move the bassinet from room to room without effort. Parents will be able to have their newborn into their bedroom at  night easily.

The wood bassinet includes an extra-large storage basket underneath to hold all baby’s essentials.

The vibration and sound unit requires 3″ AA” batteries (not included). The different sounds can be selected with a switch, baby can hear music, nature or womb sounds. There are 4 musical melodies, 2 nature sounds and 1 womb sound, and also a soothing vibration.

Sounds and music have a 20 minute auto shut-off feature to conserve battery power. To restart music and sounds you have to slide to off position and then slide over the desired sound. There are four volume settings: off, low, medium and high.

Product care

Bassinet canopy, bassinet basket and mattress pad: surface wash, air dry.

Bassinet skirt: remove it from bassinet. Hand wash in cold water and do not bleach. Hang to dry. You can use warm iron in low setting  if you need.

Mattress sheet: remove from mattress pad and machine wash in cold water. Do not bleach and tumble dry low. You can use warm iron in low setting  if you need.

Assembly

Very easy to assemble because the instructions with step by step diagrams are very clear. It can be assembled without help.

There are better options to co-sleep with your baby, although you can put the bassinet next to your bed and it is easy to do it due it has wheels.

Cleaning

Removable parts are machine washable and easy to clean. Parts that are not removable just wash the surface and air dry.
